About Earthstar
Earthstar Energy Systems has 3 decades of experience as a systems designer and supplier of advanced mechanical building systems serving the growing market for sustainable building solutions and renewable energy systems. We have combined the results of our own pioneering efforts in solar thermal technologies, radiant energy systems, geoSolar heat pumps and mass heating concepts with the most successful and appropriate technologies for radiant heating, radiant cooling, air conditioning, and whole house ventilation systems.
We seek to promote the construction of healthy, comfortable, energy efficient houses. We view the whole building as a system, of which the mechanicals are an integral part. We want to ensure that homes built today exceed current standards in order to meet the needs of tomorrow. Our designs maximize use of free solar energy, reduce monthly bills, and minimize environmental impact.
Earthstar sells complete system packages through builders and contractors across North America. Earthstar provides sales and design consultation, system design and engineering, installation layouts and diagrams, and training on products, installation and maintenance. Our installation drawings are detailed and backed by phone technical support and job file maintenance. From one room additions and low-cost housing to upscale homes and commercial facilities, in either retrofit or new construction, we offer confidence and innovation in sustainable design.
We are located in Waynesboro, Virginia, near the Charlottesville area. Our ongoing product development includes integrated solar thermal panels, low-energy mass cooling, geothermal and solar assisted heat pumps, and chilled water air conditioning methods.
